You will be collected in an airconditioned vehicle at the airport and taken to the overnight accommodation in Pretoria as per the itinerary. This tour can be combined with other day trips or tours in the Gauteng, North West and Mpumalanga provinces.
DETAILED TOUR DESCRIPTION GAUTENG, PANORAMIC, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK & GARDEN ROUTE, CAPE TOWN & SURROUNDS
During the first four days guests will experience true South African Cultural and historic hospitality, see and explore the beautiful Panoramic Route, situated along the Blyde River Canyon which is said to be the third deepest canyon in the world, and one of the world’s only year-round green canyons. We stop at a number of viewpoints along the way, namely God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Pinnacle Point, Three Rondawels, Lisbon falls and Berlin falls.
They will also experience one of the most sought after destinations in South Africa Kruger National Park.

During this section of the tour the guests will see and experience one of the most beautiful city and surrounds in the world!

Day to Day Activities

Day 1
Group met at ORT International Airport in the morning
Option 1 – Tour of Lesedi Cultural Village, experience true African culture
Lunch at Lesedi - Own account
Travel to Pretoria; Visit the Union Buildings (Mandela Statue), Voortrekker Monument and surrounding area.

Option 2 - Tour of SOWETO
Lunch - Own account in one of the taverns.
Travel to Pretoria; visit the Union Buildings (Mandela statue), Voortrekker Monument and surrounding area.
Overnight:  Centurion Lake Hotel (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2
Depart after breakfast for the Panoramic route through Mpumalanga.
Lunch on route – Own account
Option 1 - Visit Dullstroom, Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Berlin Falls,
Lisbon Falls, Wonder View, Gods Window, The Pinnacle, Graskop, and Sabie / Hazyview.
Overnight in Ohrigstad or Hazyview - Dinner bed & Breakfast
Option 2 - Visit Sudwala Caves, Sabie & Pilgrims Rest
Lunch in Pilgrims Rest – own Account.
After lunch proceed to Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, and Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
Overnight at Hannah’s Lodge near the  Canyon (or similar). Dinner bed & Breakfast

Day 3
Depart after breakfast for Kruger National Park; at Phabeni gate, the guests will be collected for game
viewing (Safari) in open safari vehicles.
Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the restaurants in the Park – Own Account.
After lunch they will be returned by OSV to exit the Park at Phabeni Gate  where they will be collected by
the coach/minibus (depending on the size of the group,  to be transferred to their overnight destination
Overnight Kruger Park Lodge (or similar) (Dinner Bed & Breakfast.)

Day 4
After breakfast; depart for ORT International; on route stop at the Sudwala Caves (if this was not
explored in the up-route option).
Half-way stop for lunch – Own Account
Due to restrictions at Kruger International Airport;  the coach will depart from the
overnight destination (depending the departure flight times from ORT to George) and proceed to Johannesburg.

This may also be a drive down to The Cape Area - over 2 days scenic drive

Day 5
Group met at George Airport
Scenic drive to Knysna via George and Wilderness region

Please note:  The 15 day trip may be shortened to 13 days by omitting day 6 and 7 in the itinerary!

Meals: On this tour, as far as is practical, meals are included as reflected in the itinerary. Breakfast is included with all overnight accommodation. Lunches are included where possible in most activities, but often a stop at a roadside café to buy a cool drink and a sandwich for own account is the better option.

A soda costs around R8.00 and a typical take-away lunch snack around R65.00, with a sit-down lunch in the range of R80.00 – R100.00.  A restaurant dinner costs between R120.00 and R200.00, wine excluded. A good bottle of wine in a restaurant can usually be had for around R180.00.
